Marsy’s Law

The Georgia Crime Victims Bill of Rights, (OCGA, Title 17, Chapter 17, et seq) provides individuals who are victims of certain crimes specific rights.  Effective January 1, 2019, with the passage of SB 127 and SR 146 (Marsy’s Law), these rights are constitutionally protected and enforced (GA Constitution Art. 1, Sect 1).  Click HERE for more information.

Victim Compensation Program

The Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Program may be able to ease the financial burden incurred by innocent victims and witnesses of violent crime in Georgia. When other resources are exhausted, we can help cover expenses for medical, counseling, funeral, crime scene sanitization and other eligible expenses related to the crime.  Click HERE for more information.
